What we are looking for: We are seeking four motivated and curious analytical interns, each to fill a specific project role, for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. Each intern will gain hands-on experience working on a single, focused healthcare technology project in one of the areas listed below. This program offers meaningful mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to how data, technology, and products are used to improve healthcare outcomes. Interns will contribute to impactful work while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills in their assigned project area. What you will do: Internship Project Tracks Data Products & Analytics Engineering The Intern will support the development of reusable, parameter-driven analytics templates using the MedInsight Analytics Toolkit. This work focuses on summarizing healthcare data such as medical claims and enrollment files in a consistent, scalable way. You may: Build configurable analytics workflows using Python and SQL. Apply schema mapping and aggregation logic across multiple data sources. Validate analytical outputs and document results. Create technical documentation and training materials. Ideal background: Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative fields The Intern will support product and engineering initiatives, including EHR-based care gap use cases and enhancements to network optimization functionality. You may: Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams. Translate user needs into product or UX solutions. Contribute to testing, validation, and iteration of new features. Gain exposure to healthcare product development lifecycles. Ideal background: Computer Science, Software Engineering, UX Design, Digital Media, or related fields Products - Strategic Innovation (AI & Advanced Analytics) The Intern will assist with AI initiatives focused on anomaly detection using machine learning and statistical models applied to healthcare data. You may: Support development and testing of ML and statistical models. Analyze datasets to identify patterns or anomalies. Document insights and communicate findings to stakeholders. Learn how AI is applied responsibly in healthcare. Ideal background: Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields with AI or ML coursework Government Programs Analytics & Risk Adjustment The intern will support the Government Program Payer team by contributing to analytics and product enablement work for the MedInsight and ProData Health risk adjustment platform. This project focuses on improving the end-to-end risk adjustment workflow for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid populations. You may: Support analytics related to clinical and claims data integration. Evaluate model outputs and reporting used to identify suspect conditions, documentation gaps, and coding opportunities. Analyze risk score impact and decision-support outputs. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across products, analytics, and payer-facing teams. Gain exposure to real-world governmentprogram and payer challenges. Ideal background: Health Policy or Health Economics, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, Public Health (MPH with quantitative concentration), Business Analytics, Operations Research, or Economics Strong interest in: Medicare Advantage and Medicaid / Dual-Eligible populations. Risk adjustment, predictive analytics, and decision-support models. Value-based care and quality measurement. Experience working with healthcare, payer, or population health data. Why Join Us?
