About Us: The Louisiana Department of Treasury is the financial backbone of the state, safeguarding and optimizing the use of public funds. The mission of the Department is to manage state funds by promoting prudent cash management and investment strategies as well as monitoring, regulating and coordinating state and local debt obligations as mandated by the Constitution and the laws of the State of Louisiana.
About this Position: This position will be responsible for the development and oversight of a transparency site that will allow the public to compare K-12 Louisiana School Systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Serves as project manager for the Louisiana K-12 Transparency Site.
Obtains, reviews, and analyzes performance data and K-12 salary report data for posting on the site.
Makes recommendations on metrics of interest to the public
Serves as the interface between the Department of Treasury, Department of Education, and business managers of each school system.
Reviews and analyzes documentation and performance data submitted by school systems to verify compliance with Act 370 of the 2023 Regular Session
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This vacancy may be filled as either a Probational or a Job Appointment (open to all qualified applicants), a Promotion (open to all statewide classified and Agency-wide permanent status employees), or by Detail to Special Duty or Classified Temporary Appointment.
This position may require the selected applicant to serve a minimum probationary period of twelve (12) months. Current permanent status classified employees may be required to accept a probational appointment in lieu of promotion if selected. If filled as a Job Appointment, there is a possibility that these positions may be converted to a probational appointment should funding become available. Additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of the closing date.
