Brief Description of Department

By aligning workplace design and policies with business objectives, the strategy ensures that our spaces and tools enable employees to perform at their best while fostering connection across teams. This approach integrates technology, real estate, and organizational goals to adapt to evolving workforce needs and drive long-term success.
What You Will do:
The Associate Director for Workplace Employee Experience is a pivotal role responsible for developing and implementing global strategies to enhance the onsite employee experience. This includes the delivery and management of standard building amenities and resources such as food services, conferencing, concierge services, and event support. The role requires a strong focus on creating seamless, high-quality, and innovative workplace experiences that contribute to employee satisfaction, engagement, and productivity.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement global workplace experience strategies to ensure consistent delivery of building amenities resources with a proactive focus to surprise and delight employees in the workplace.
Align workplace services and initiatives with the company's mission, vision, and values to foster a positive and engaging employee environment.
Onsite Employee Experience:
Drive programs and offerings that enhance the onsite employee experience, ensuring services are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with employee needs.
Building Amenities Management:
Oversee the delivery and management of core building amenities, including but not limited to food services, conferencing facilities, concierge services, and event support.
Optimize the utilization of physical spaces and amenities to maximize employee convenience and satisfaction.
Global Standards and Consistency:
Establish and maintain global standards for workplace services, ensuring consistency across regions while allowing for localized adaptations as needed.
Partner with regional and local teams to implement and manage services in alignment with global strategies.
Create a standard template and playbook for site visitor pages which become a one stop shop for RTX staff visiting sites.
Align with Workplace Solutions team on standards which create a positive work environment and improves the general ambiance of facilities (natural light, texture, materials and furniture, noise levels)
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure high-quality delivery of workplace services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Facilities, IT, and leadership, to align goals and ensure seamless integration of services.
Serve as the Workplace Experience liaison to the Workplace Solutions, Digital Technology and Human Resources team and develop cross-functional relationships which create a comprehensive approach to employee satisfaction.
Employee Engagement and Communication:
Develop communication strategies to promote awareness and engagement with workplace services and amenities.
Act as the voice of the employee by using surveys, feedback, and insights to refine and enhance workplace programs.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of workplace trends and innovations to introduce best practices and cutting-edge solutions.
Implement processes to monitor and measure the effectiveness of workplace services, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage budgets for workplace experience programs and services.
Ensure optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
Travel expectation: 20-30%
Qualifications You Must Have:
This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Workplace, or a related field and 12 years of relevant experience gained in workplace experience, facilities management, or similar role, with a focus on employee engagement and amenities management or an advanced degree and 10 years relevant experience.
At least 10 years' experience developing and implementing global strategies for workplace services.
At least 10 years of leadership and project management experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and employee-focused mindset.
At least 10 years' experience interfacing with and managing vendors, contract negotiation, and budget oversight.
At least 7 years' experience in and familiarity with workplace technologies, tools, and trends to enhance employee experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
An advanced degree is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar role gained in the hospitality, or Hotel industry
Location based on the east coast, Boston, Hartford, New York or Washington
Passion for creating a welcoming, engaging, and innovative workplace environment.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Corporate Real Estate experience preferred.
Fluent in MS Office suite

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
