We are seeking a transformational Director, People with strong experience in strategy and operations. As a key member of the Supply Chain Transportation People leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and executing a workforce strategy that directly propels our core business objectives.

What you'll do...
Act as a Strategic Partner: Serve as the primary People consultant to the leadership of Fleet Maintenance, Internalized Parcel, and Fleet Safety. You'll translate business-critical goals into an actionable, forward-thinking talent strategy.
Lead Transformation: Champion and guide change initiatives across both our vast Field Operations and our Home Office support teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and associate engagement.
Develop Talent & Capability: Design and deploy comprehensive strategies for talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention. You will ensure we are building the right skills-from specialized maintenance technicians to data-driven safety professionals-to win.
Champion Culture & Experience: Be a steward for the Walmart culture. Proactively design and implement initiatives that enhance the associate experience, drive engagement, and make Walmart Transportation an unparalleled employer of choice.
Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize people analytics to identify workforce trends, measure the effectiveness of your strategies, and provide data-backed insights to your business partners.
What you'll bring...
A Transformational Mindset: You don't just manage HR; you build and transform it. You have a proven history of leading large-scale organizational change.
Strategic Business Acumen: You see the "why" behind the business operations and have demonstrated success in aligning people strategy directly to financial and operational outcomes.
Senior Leadership & Influence: 10+ years of Human Resources experience, with significant time spent in a strategic HR Business Partner or leadership role, influencing senior-level VPs and Directors.
Field & Corporate Expertise: Experience supporting a complex, distributed, industrial workforce is essential. Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Associate Advocacy: A deep and genuine passion for the associate experience, with a track record of building safe, and high-performing cultures.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
