Job Title: Warehouse Docks Associate Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Docks Associate, where you will play a crucial role in the receiving department. Although you will be working collaboratively within a team, your individual contributions will be recognized and tracked.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team in the receiving department to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory control and tracking.

Handle materials efficiently and ensure proper placement and organization of products.

Manage returns and ensure they are processed correctly.

Maintain a fast-paced work speed and adhere to safety protocols when using equipment like electric pallet jacks.

Essential Skills

Experience in warehouse operations, preferably between 0 to 6 months.

Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory control.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently for extended periods.

Comfortable working at heights, using a 12ft staircase ladder.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong physical stamina to walk briskly for 8-12 hours daily.

Knowledge of handling and managing returns in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment

The work environment is a bustling warehouse setting within the receiving department. You will navigate narrow aisles between pallets with several colleagues around. Safety is paramount, with electric pallet jacks operated by certified personnel. The dress code includes sneakers, boots, or steel-toe footwear, and the use of electronic devices like cellphones and smart watches is prohibited within the warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
