Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Systems Security Engineer I to join our Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter's technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our Warfighters. This is an onsite position at Raytheon.
What You Will Do:
Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results
Create patch artifacts such as patch media and information assurance posture reports; run regression tests on the system
Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG, and/or RADIX.
Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Linux Bash and Python scripting
Basic understanding of the systems engineering process
Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
Knowledge/course work of radar, signal & image processing, digital communications, control theories, estimation theory and/or electro optics.
Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
