We are currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for Radar Integration and Test who will be a key member within the GA-EMS Radar Technologies department. In this capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer will execute radar subsystem and system integration and test activities to validate capabilities in HWIL Hardware in the Loop (HWIL_ and in the field. The Senior Systems Engineer will report into the Senior Manager of Architecture and Systems Engineering within the Radar Technologies group.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Review system requirements and design documentation to support planning integration and test events
Perform test planning including development of test sequencing, test cases, test methods, and test inputs to validate component, subsystem, and system requirements and performance
Setup and configure integration and test environments (labs, test stands, simulators, Radar test sites, etc.)
Physically integrate hardware (HW) components in lab environment and on radar proto@types at test sites, duties include racking of components and integration with power, network, cooling solutions and RF networks
Configure, integrate and checkout power and cooling systems to determine readiness for radar integration
Develop procedures for radar operations and maintenance
Develop site safety plans to mitigate risks associated with high power RF operations
Perform electrical and RF testing using equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and voltage/current monitors
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate on backlog planning, implementation approach, and integration and test plans
Analyze data from integration events and field tests, troubleshoot and debug issues, and coordinate with development teams to identify fixes or design updates to resolve
Develop test reports and present at company technical reviews and internal meetings
Prepare and execute reviews with internal and external customers in support of first time power on, radar shipment, and readiness for major test events

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; fifteen or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, thirteen or more years of experience with a masters degree, or ten or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
Demonstrates a detailed and extensive technical expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice with the ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones with some experience in project leadership.
Demonstrated experience with electrical and RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and voltage/current monitors.
Experience leading radar site operations
Experience with radar assembly, integration and test (I&T) in factory, or I&T/maintenance facility
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout a fast-paced, R&D environment.
Must have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with other departments, customers, government representatives, and/or professionals.
Must be customer focused and able to work on a self- initiated basis or in a team environment.
Must be willing to travel for field integration test activities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:?
Experience troubleshooting complex systems, use of RF test and measurement equipment
Experience with development tools including Confluence and Jira
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Experience with near field and far field integration and test of RF systems
Experience with coordinated flight test events
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively across disciplines
Previous experience working with the Department of Defense
