Our work depends on a Contracts Administrator Sr. Principal joining our team to support the fast paced and growing portfolio that includes a diverse suite of federal civilian agencies within our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in customer engagement, proposal development, and mission focused contract activities. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering complex IT service contracts and task orders; demonstrated expertise identifying and analyzing complex contract matters; experience in risk and OCI assessments; and have an ability to apply strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks. This position requires a clear communication style supplemented with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.
HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR. PRINCIPAL WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
?Ensure contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
Work with programs to help identify scope creep and manage change
Negotiate contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
Serve as the point of contact for internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
Review requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
Review and approve solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
Review and negotiate various @types of agreements
Interpret contractual work requirements and obligations
Make recommendations regarding contract implementation
Maintain knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
Participate in special projects as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, 14+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
Experience: 10+ years of related Contract Administration experience
Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Security clearance level: Active Top Secret clearance required
Required skills and abilities: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract @types. Experience supporting various incentive contracts. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Ability to operate and negotiate independently.
Preferred certifications: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) and/or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
Location: This is a hybrid role working at our GDIT Facility located in Falls Church, VA. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $142,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
