Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our equipment and building systems running smoothly. You'll handle inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and some equipment fabrication. You'll also help train newer team members on how to safely run and care for the machines. Safety is a top priority in everything we do.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Train team members on how to properly operate equipment and answer questions when they come up. Do routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on machines and building systems. Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment, including jumping in on emergency work orders when needed. Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Suggest improvements to make preventive maintenance better and more efficient. Help with equipment fabrication (welding, cutting, drilling, etc.) when required. Keep clear, accurate records of repair work and update others on project progress. Replace machine parts as needed during repairs. Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to plan and complete repairs. Participate in committees or activities as needed.

Shift: Openings on all shifts! 1st: 7am - 3:15pm 2nd: 3pm - 11:15pm 3rd: 11pm - 7:15am

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. About two years of technical training and three years of hands-on maintenance experience, or a combination that gives you similar skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Around 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Solid understanding of safety practices and proper PPE use. Comfortable using computers to document work. Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly. Willing and able to train new team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
