Unity House of Troy is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working with numbers and supporting a mission-driven organization that values inclusion and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing, organizing, and recording invoices.

Generating and mailing refunds or payables and handling payable-related inquiries.

Managing direct-deposit processes and preparing reports for supervisor approval.

Verifying invoice accuracy, coding invoices, posting payments, and resolving discrepancies.

Maintaining vendor files, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with month-end close

Running reports, approving expense reports, scanning/processing invoices, and supporting AP subsystems.

Promote an environment of inclusion, respect, and belonging

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred

Minimum of four (4) years of experience required

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

Experience with computerized accounting systems required

Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation required
