Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Ceres, California. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented professionals with a solid background in accounting practices and a commitment to maintaining efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and other financial transactions.

Assist with general ledger maintenance and updates.

Monitor workflow within the accounting department and provide support as needed.

Collaborate with team members to address accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare detailed reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Knowledge of general ledger processes and journal entries.

Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
