Tactical Air Support Inc. Commercial Services F-35 Technical Advisor Fallon, Nevada

Salary range: $60.00 - $62.00 / Hourly, DOE

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the F-35 Advisor will be responsible for program and flight operational support within the Flight Operations Department. This position will provide insight and training on the F-35 to the Flight Operations Department and will regularly answer non-routine correspondence, assemble highly confidential and sensitive information, and coordinate needs of diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide F-35 specific training and courseware development. Function as a liaison between the ACES consulting division of the company the Flight Operations Department. Analyze flight training and debrief data, generating reports that will guide the company in operational execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or 4 years experience in a relevant F-35 systems field.

Two years F-35 experience with systems data and analysis.

Strong computer skills with ability to utilize various software and applications (Microsoft Office 365/GCC) for creating spreadsheets, reports, documents, forms, and presentations.

Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be required.

Valid State Driver License.

Active/current DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States, complete a U.S. government I-9 form, and successfully pass a government background check.

Desired Experience/Skills

Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry preferred.

Two years' experience in an F-35 operational or training squadron is preferred.

Two years' experience in government contract reporting preferred.

Work Authorization

Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.

Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) required.

Occasional aircraft hangar or flight line environment with exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines and chemicals, unpredictable climate (hot/cold), and electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards.

May be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
