Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ?? Senior Software Engineer ??is expected to be able to:

Conduct analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, andutilizationof electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.

Manage an end productwhichmay bespecial use, customized, or commercial software.

Determinecomputer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programmingtechniquesand controls; prepare operating instructions; design and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.

Ensuresoftware standards are met.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active Top Secretclearance with a CI Poly.

9-13 years of relevant experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

One or more of the following certifications:

Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)

Professional Software Developer Certification (IEEE CS)

Certified Software Engineer (CSE)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our TekSynap team, supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Intelligence Community. The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.

Work schedule:"Normal work hours" constitute on average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

Amount of Travel:20%
