Description

Robert Half is partnering with a national firm to find a Litigation Docketing Clerk to join their team. The docketing clerk is responsible for accurately calendaring and monitoring all litigation deadlines in compliance with court rules, local rules, and firm procedures. This role is critical in supporting attorneys and legal staff by ensuring deadlines are tracked, updated, and communicated effectively. This is a remote, long-term contract position that will start in February.

Key Responsibilities

Review pleadings, motions, court orders, and correspondence to identify and calendar all relevant litigation deadlines.

Accurately enter deadlines into CompuLaw.

Monitor court rules (state, federal, and local) to calculate deadlines and verify accuracy.

Update and maintain docket entries as cases progress and deadlines change.

Communicate upcoming deadlines to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Conduct regular audits of docket entries to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Respond to docketing inquiries from attorneys and staff.

6+ month contract

Remote, but must work Pacific Standard Time

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm PST

Requirements

5+ years of docketing experience.

Proficiency docketing via CompuLaw.

Ability to track and manage litigation deadlines accurately.

Comfortable working in a remote setting.
