How You'll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own
Our Business Development intern plays an integral part in government business development, capture and proposal development activities. As a Business Development intern, you will conduct market research, provide input to solutions development programs meant to enhance our overall Pwin for growth efforts, and assist with the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFI), questionnaires (general and due diligence), and various ad hoc requests.
A Day in the Life
Familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
Provide solutions development efforts to design, built, and integrate solutions to specific challenges to address GDIT Cyber Pursuit Team needs.
Review strategic plans and campaign plans, using Federal budget data and open-source intelligence to determine total addressable market (TAM) and adjust strategic focus.
Perform business intelligence/competitive intelligence research using government websites and our Salesforce database.
Collate and maintain customer information.
Work with stakeholders to understand what insights are needed to support their business goals.
Various duties that enhance the Business Development procedures of the company and increase productivity.
The Must-Haves
Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Business Administration/Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related discipline from a United States-based college or university.
Support integrating cybersecurity solutions
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
