Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.
Job Summary:
As part of the Electrical Field team, members interface with other teams across the project, to drive Construction, Pre-Commissioning activities and System completion per the established schedule. Analyzing System readiness, tracking restraints and open items and identifying potential roadblocks or pitfalls. Proactively considers continuous learning, developing firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings while embracing zero accident and zero rework philosophies. The individual provides a pivotal interface between other team members and requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. #LI-BH1
Major Responsibilities:
Track pending issues and actions impacting system turnover.
Coordinate system walkdowns.
Impress upon Construction, Field Engineering and Pre-Commissioning the sense of urgency for meeting commitments.
Review field generated inspection records for quality and completeness.
Log field generated inspection records into completions management software for tracking and reporting.
Utilize multiple databases and BSAPs for reviewing and checking dossiers including Teamworks, Setroute, Smart Completions and Aconex.
Maintain and administrate Completions tracking databases.
Prepare and complete quality documents and data audits.
Support the implementation of the records retention and turnover plans.
Manage installation work packages and test packages.
Update Teamworks database.
Perform / assist with other general administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Coordinate and track open punchlist items.
Proactively consider continuous learning or show interest in pursuing learning activities.
Develops firm understanding of work packaging, test packaging, and system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.
Support development and provide operational training to other team members as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience?
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
Some understanding of and experience with Smart Completions and Unifier is preferred.
