AWS Supply Chain is seeking an exceptional Software Development Engineer to join our team within the AWS Solutions organization. We are building revolutionary enterprise applications that leverage Amazon's extensive operational expertise to help millions of companies worldwide manage their day-to-day supply chain operations. Our team is at the forefront of an exciting initiative to build intelligent supply chain solutions for faster and smarter decisions through trusted and adaptive AI. We focus specifically on Inventory Intelligence and Supply Planning capabilities that help enterprises manage potential stock-outs and excess inventory for finished goods. Additionally, we're building Supply Planning Agents to elevate supply planning capabilities to new optimization levels, enabling businesses to balance inventory investments with targets while adapting to dynamic market conditions. These solutions integrate with Demand Intelligence capabilities to create a comprehensive supply chain intelligence platform that reduces costs, improves operational efficiency, and enhances decision-making across entire supply networks.
As a key member of our team, you will develop advanced GenAI/Agentic AI solutions that help millions of companies worldwide optimize their supply chain operations. You'll be instrumental in building the Inventory Optimization Tools for AI Agents and advancing our Supply Planning Agent capabilities. Key job responsibilities
Deal with ambiguity in solving a complex problem space that has not been tackled at this scale before.
Work with other engineering teams who are aligned towards the same goal with many opportunities for cross-team influence, architecture, and collaboration.
Build a customer facing product from the ground up and deliver it to market quickly.
Be a key contributor in setting the teams technical direction, best practices, and plan for the years ahead
Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to define the end product and customer experience and then implement it with best of breed web technologies and AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
