Position Title: Manufacturing Assembly Associate

Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly Associates to support the build and inspection of high-quality electronic products. In this hands-on role, you will contribute directly to the production of electronic components and assemblies by performing precise assembly, soldering, and machine-assisted tasks. This position is ideal for individuals who value consistency, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of electronic and electromechanical components

Hand-solder wires, connectors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with quality standards

Assemble cables, ribbon assemblies, and subcomponents using tools and fixtures

Operate production equipment such as crimping or assembly machines

Follow written work instructions, diagrams, and process documentation

Complete production records accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

Meet daily production goals while maintaining high product quality

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or general labor environments

Hands-on experience with assembly tools and equipment

Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and process documentation

Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with attention to detail

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Preferred Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Experience in electronic or mechanical assembly

Knowledge of soldering techniques and PCB handling

Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT), cleanroom environments, or blueprint reading

Work Schedule & Environment

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM-1:00 AM (10% shift differential)

154,000-square-foot temperature-controlled facility

Over 550 employees onsite

Equipped with 7 high-volume SMT production lines

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
