Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami Beach, Florida. This role requires a candidate with extensive expertise in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate and foreign tax matters, combined with proficiency in tax software.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review tax returns for both individual and corporate clients with precision and adherence to regulations.

Analyze and manage consolidated tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all filings.

Utilize Lacerte Tax Software effectively to streamline tax preparation processes.

Address foreign tax issues, providing expert guidance and solutions to clients.

Collaborate with team members and clients to gather necessary financial information for tax filings.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and informed services.

Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients through strategic planning.

Ensure timely completion and submission of all tax-related documents.

Work on-site four days a week to foster collaboration and ensure high-quality service delivery.

*Client is interested in someone who would eventually like to become a Partner in the firm but must come with a book of business.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting.

Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software for efficient tax management.

Strong knowledge of corporate and individual tax return preparation.

Experience with consolidated tax returns and foreign tax matters.

Ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Ability to work in-office four days per week.
