Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant supports the AP team by managing the shared AP inbox, handling routine vendor and internal communications, and performing light administrative tasks to ensure timely, accurate invoice processing in compliance with company policies and GAAP. The role is an on-site part-time opportunity.

Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring appropriate coding and documentation.

Verify invoice details, including amounts and vendor information, to maintain accuracy.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.

Maintain organized records of invoices and payment transactions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during invoice processing.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and coding.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

Excellent organizational skills to maintain records and documentation.

Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Effective communication skills for resolving payment-related issues
