Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain detailed supporting schedules Review and analyze income statement accounts and job cost reports; provide insights to project teams and management Reconcile intercompany transactions between related entities Perform monthly bank reconciliations Prepare timely financial statements for assigned business units and joint ventures Serve as an accounting resource for project teams Support credit card platform administration Assist Treasury with banking activities and cash management Process and apply cash receipts Support AP and AR teams with sales and use tax questions Assist with cash flow forecasting Assist with equipment and fixed asset accounting Maintain system records and tracking for fixed assets Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned Minimal travel as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred; construction accounting a plus Highly organized with strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to prioritize in a fast-growth environment High level of discretion and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Skills

Construction or project-based accounting experience ERP or accounting system experience Audit or financial review support experience Interest in process improvement and automation
