Position Summary...
The Senior Director role leading the West Transportation Command Center (WTCC) sits at the heart of our fleet performance in the west division. This leader runs mission critical operations and sets the standard for how we serve stores, clubs, and customers at scale. The focus is people first, culture forward, and grounded in strong operational judgment. The leader drives a full transformation across people, process, and technology. The work brings digital capabilities into the operation, so teams respond faster, make clearer decisions, and meet the needs of customers and members as they shift how and when they shop. This is a field role is stationed in a building the premises of the Bentonville RDC 6094.
Responsibilities and Scale
Leads a 24x7 operation with 300+ associates on a budget of over $25M.
Owns service, dispatch, scheduling, and capacity across three regions and 52 transportation offices.
Including approx. 8K drivers, 6K tractors, and 40K trailers.
Optimizes cost and revenue while supporting all Walmart, Sam's Club, and eCommerce store formats.
Drives operational consistency and clear rules of engagement within the west TCC and across the East TCC, and local field offices.
Aligns with Product, Tech, DC leadership, and Transportation Operations on tech roadmap.

What you'll do...

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
