The (USA) Data Engineer III plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and models to support business analytics and decision-making. About the team:
The SiteTraffic360 team delivers essential data engineering solutions supporting analytics, performance, and advertising data needs. The team leads initiatives such as Traffic Instrumentation Standardization & Automation, TrafficSense Portal, and GenAI feature launches. Members collaborate to build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and apply advanced data transformation and modeling techniques. Utilizing big data technologies like Apache Spark and Kafka, the team enables efficient data integration and processing. Their work supports business objectives and enhances data-driven decision-making across multiple domains, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics and reporting needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources, ensure data quality, and integrate different datasets.
Develop and optimize data models, including logical and physical designs, to enhance data accessibility and usability.
Implement data governance practices aligned with regulatory and ethical standards to ensure data security and compliance.
Write, test, and deploy efficient code using SQL and other programming languages to support data transformation and ingestion.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring reliability and performance in cloud and big data environments.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in data engineering, including data transformation, modeling, and integration.
Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes to develop and maintain efficient data pipelines.
Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud-based data warehousing platforms.
Understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to analyze complex data flows and design scalable data models for enterprise environments.
Familiarity with data ingestion techniques and managing structured and semi-structured data sources.
Demonstrated capability to support business requirements through technical solutions aligned with data strategy.

Sunnyvale, California US-11657: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
