Description: Supports operations of the athletics department, performs duties for the AD related to the operation of the Athletics Department, the NCAA, and the PBC. Provides administrative support to the Athletics Director and entire Athletics department by assisting with procedures, policies, inquiries, and paperwork. Responsibilities include but are not limited to - oversee game day preparations and operations (student worker scheduling, door/gate schedules, ticket sales and reconciliation, etc) - Ensure accurate financial and budget tracking and documentation, travel documentation, purchasing paperwork - Serve as a liaison between campus departments - Answering phones and other clerical duties.

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and a minimum of two years' administrative support experience required. A bachelors degree could be substituted in lieu of experience. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of administrative operations, processes, techniques and procedures. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Must have a working knowledge of accounting principles and record keeping systems. Must be proficient in word, excel, and adobe. Must have ability to perform basic mathematical computations

Hire Range: $45,000 University Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Class Code: AA75 - State Title: Administrative Assistant : 04
