Your responsibilities Position Summary: Provide technical support to all areas of plant production. Create, edit and/or revise prints and routers while optimizing the balance between quality, productivity, safety and cost. Generate process drawings, routers and machining standards Solve manufacturing issues on the shop floor Investigate and make adjustments of incorrect machining standards Estimate manufacturing and product costs Review customer order information and recommend changes in specifications if needed Identify the proper machine tool to efficiently and safely manufacture the product Design machine / assembly holding fixtures and oversee the requisition Update routers / process drawings to the current manufacturing methods Identify and implement cost reduction projects Assist production control in resolving scheduling problems Support ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certifications Maintain a safe working environment Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or similar engineering discipline preferred 3 - 5 years of related experience and/or training in a metal work production environment Machining and tooling knowledge in the areas of turning, drilling, threading, ceramic turning and gear manufacturing Good computer skills: 2-D & 3-D CAD, Microsoft Products Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
