About the Role:

At CBRE, we keep commercial spaces comfortable, efficient, and operational. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you'll be part of a trusted team that ensures climate control systems perform at their best-supporting the environments where business thrives.

As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, conducting routine checks and maintaining systems, for a large hospital in Independence, OH, to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. The position requires 1-2 years of commercial HVAC experience, having strong physical stamina and a foundational grasp of computers is essential.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems

What You'll Do:

Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.

Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.

Fix equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, manage work orders through the CMMS, Teams, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.

The minimum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $25 per hour and the maximum salary is $30 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
