Koman Construction is seeking a highly-motivated Administrative Assistant with Construction experience to join our team. They will provide support to Project Managers and other team members as needed to provide full support to the Construction Office.

Responsibilities:

Assist in general clerical functions

Supports the project staff by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, etc. Takes meeting notes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up.

Assisting in administrative functions of project-related assignments including overall planning, tracking and documentation of one or several projects from the project proposal phase to the project closeout.

Work with Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager, and team to understand the scope of work, schedule, project instructions and responsibilities.

Prepare and maintain contracts, construction documents and billing for projects and maintain all documentation. Great communication skills with contractors and 3rd party clients is very important.

Knowledge of OSHA reporting a plus.

Special event and project planning and coordination as requested.

Enhance and present a positive image of the company and a professional manner toward employees, staff, and the public.

Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in corporate office administration supporting multiple managers.

Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Construction administration.

Minimum 2 years of experience performing complex clerical duties. Advanced training in typing and general office procedures. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Software skills in Microsoft Office.

Viewpoint Construction Software experience a plus
