JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW in Carlisle and University Park, PA invites exceptional candidates to apply for short-term, part-time adjunct faculty appointments for the Spring 2026 Semester, in the areas of: Bankruptcy Law Client Counseling (criminal and/or civil client focuses welcome) Construction Law Corporate Finance Electronic Evidence Elder Law Environmental Law Externship Sections Federal Courts Gender & Sexuality Law General Counsel & In-House Legal Department Experience Health Law & Policy Intellectual Property Licensing Labor Law Land Use Law Law of Armed Conflict Law Practice Management Legal Research LL.M. Legal Writing & Research Moot Court and Mock Trial Team Coaches Negotiation/Mediation Nonprofit Organizations Payment Systems Race, Racism & the Law Spanish for Lawyers Water Law Other areas as needs arise

In addition, Dickinson Law is always interested in increasing attorney or judge taught experiential learning courses.Email the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Jeffrey A. Dodge, at jad6742@psu.edu should you have a course idea that focuses on applied lawyering skills through simulations, writing, and/or research. Requirements and QualificationsApplicants should have: A distinguished record of law practice in the subject matter or experience teaching the course subjects. Scholarly or professional publications to the relevant field of law. Participation and leadership in bar association or other professional organizations related to the subject matter. A J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school. Superior academic credentials.

While adjunct faculty able to teach live in Carlisle or University Park are preferred, flexible work arrangements, such as remote or hybrid work opportunities, may be considered.
