Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products

Work from analysis, prints, written, and verbal instructions

Must be able to sequence sizes and shapes of parts with respect to rectifier control to maintain quality

Required to make paperwork associated with the Plating Department, such as S.P.C. recording, machining activity reports, move tickets, and labor reporting

Must develop the technique of visual inspection and add chromate as needed to maintain the color and brilliance

Be able to recognize parts requiring movement during plating and also parts requiring partial rotation

Must perform all material handling associated with the Plating Department

Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk.

Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Have a high degree of initiative

Good math and reading skills

Basic computer skills

Be able to use simple measuring instruments, such as a caliper and scale
