Job Title: Construction Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. You will collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables, while monitoring project progress and recommending mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Analyze schedule impacts due to design changes, procurement delays, or unforeseen site conditions.

Support project budgeting and resource allocation by integrating schedule data with cost and labor forecasts.

Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and clients.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry with a focus on scheduling.

Experience with Multifamily Projects.

Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including managing change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Proficiency with Primavera and construction management tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
