As the CPIP Prevention Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, family systems and child development related to implementation of prevention programming across the lifespan.

Have the ability to receive on-going staff development and retain awareness of trends and data related to the culture of alcohol and substance abuse.

Provide substance abuse education and intervention services in virtual and in-person capacity, utilizing evidence-based practices and programs.

Research and implement evidence/research/science-based substance abuse prevention programs.

Facilitate evidence-based and other prevention programming as determined by the Network, OASAS and Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.

Provide information and referral services, community awareness activities and speaking engagements.

CPIP Prevention Specialist Minimum Salary: $19.00

CPIP Prevention Specialist Maximum Salary: $21.00

CPIP Prevention Specialis t Schedule:

Full Impact Work Week: 5 Days, Monday - Friday 8AM to 3:30PM

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Human Services or related field

1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
