As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver in Roanoke, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at this location within the manufacturing and industrial sector, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.

Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support ongoing site operations.

Assist visitors and employees with security-related questions and provide directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
