PowerBI Project Analyst

Description

SAIC is looking to add a Project Analyst with PowerBI experience to provide critical support for project management by creating and maintaining project dashboards and reports to help visualize project health, performance, and financial data. The position also involves traditional project management support tasks, such as coordinating with teams, managing project documentation, and assisting the project manager with planning, execution, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

Power BI development:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize project status, KPIs, and financial data.

Connect Power BI to various data sources, model data, and create complex calculations using DAX.

Automate report generation and data refreshes.

Project management support:

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and evaluating project activities.

Track project timelines, deliverables, and budget.

Manage project documentation, including status reports and change requests.

Facilitate project meetings, taking notes, and tracking action items.

Stakeholder collaboration:

Gather requirements from project stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.

Communicate project status and insights derived from Power BI dashboards to project teams and leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience.

US Citizenship required for this role.

Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with data visualization and business intelligence principles.

Excellent project management support skills, including documentation and coordination.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
