Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Nevada, Iowa. In this long-term contract role, you will manage various financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail to contribute to the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Handle invoice review, matching, and processing to ensure proper documentation and approvals.

Manage payroll coding and contributions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and support bookkeeping activities.

Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure proper allocation of expenses.

Organize and maintain financial documents using tools such as Dropbox and other relevant systems.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes with thorough preparation and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address financial inquiries.

Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data at all times. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.

Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice processing and financial reconciliation procedures.

Ability to manage payroll tasks, including coding and contributions.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
