Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent

Must possess mechanical aptitude

Experienced in mechanical assembly

Experienced in electrical assembly, wiring and crimping

Experienced to used mechanical and electrical drawings

Works well with team, customers and vendors to resolve issues, improve processes and ensure quality

Ability to communicate processes, written or verbally, for the purpose of training or instruction

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Manufacturing Technician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Specialty Product Manufacturing Business Line in the Instrumentation & Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:

Mechanical and electrical assembly based on drawings and specifications, or work instructions that are written or verbal

Development of processes or work instructions (SWIs)

Supporting various facility activities like shipping, packing, soldering, troubleshooting, and repair

This position requires up to 25% travel to Nuclear Power Plant sites and other Framatome facilities for support/interfacing with outside customers and vendors. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $19.20 - $25.10 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
