What You've Accomplished

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline

At least 5 years of directly related experience

Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria

Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data

Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment

Good problem identification and resolution skills

Displays informal leadership characteristics

Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking

Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Process Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Nuclear Instrumentation Business Line in the Instrumentation & Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:

Complex engineering assignments requiring strong problem-solving methodology and date analysis

Interact with Technicians on a daily basis which requires excellent verbal communication skills

Process improvements, garner support from Technicians and plant management, and implement solutions

Be challenged to continue to develop your knowledge of the organization, process, and customers

This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $97,000 - $131,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
