Warehouse Worker - Front Royal, Virginia

Job Description:

Join our growing team as a Warehouse Worker in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will be actively involved in handling and disassembling electronics, requiring the use of basic hand tools throughout your workday. This role involves computer and data entry tasks using a proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel to manage inventory efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Disassemble computer components, outdated/damaged server racks, and memory banks using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers.

Perform regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs.

Rotate through various departments, adapting to slightly varying tasks each day.

Engage in computer/data entry tasks for inventory purposes.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Comply with safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe or composite boots.

Essential Skills:

1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Proficient in computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel.

Ability to follow written directions accurately.

Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Experience using hand tools effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with material handling, packing, picking, and using RF scanners.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Strong attention to detail for sorting materials.

Work Environment:

Work in a state-of-the-art warehouse located in Front Royal, VA, where old computers, racks, and servers are either wiped of data for resale or destroyed for metal recovery. The facility operates Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM, and requires employees to wear steel-toed boots. This role demands strong teamwork and attention to detail, making it ideal for those who thrive in a cooperative setting.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Front Royal, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
