Summary You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC in the Towed Array Systems Repair Shop (67T), Command and Control Systems (CCS) Digital Repair Division (Code 725), Weapons Repair Department (Code 700), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will maintain and repair a variety of submarine machinery, equipment and components. You will make needed repairs by replacing, reworking, manufacturing, or refinishing worn or damaged parts and components. You will test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper operational capability. You will perform related duties including quality control coordination tasks required to ensure the quality of products/services resulting from work performed. Ability to clean and perform preventive maintenance tasks, including greasing, inspecting, and conducting operational tests as required. Ability to apply knowledge and utilize protective devices, clothing, and equipment-such as safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, and safety shoes-when working in hazardous or adverse environmental conditions.
