Our client, a leader in industrial facilities management, is seeking a Service Equipment Mechanic to join their team. As a Service Equipment Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Service Equipment Mechanic

Location: New Bedford, MA

Pay Range: $30.32-$42.78 (based on experience)

Shift: 7am-3pm with mandatory OT as needed

What's the Job?

Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS), ensuring optimal operation of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.

Document preventative maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Maintain parts inventory and manage work orders through CMMS.

Calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure system accuracy.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Services, particularly with HVAC systems.

Universal Refrigeration License is required.

Proficiency in mechanical systems and production equipment.

Strong computer skills, especially with Windows-based systems.
