Department Summary:

The Cyber Operations and Effects Innovation Center(L513) provides world-class expertise and innovation to support our sponsors' operational cybersecurity missions. Our agile cyber professionals combine hands-on experience and best practices to develop solutions for both short- and long-term outcomes. We bring expertise in the rapidly evolving cyber landscape to help our sponsors counter advanced adversaries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Cyber Operations and Effects Innovation Center is seeking a Business Operations specialist to programmatically support our cyber operations direct projects and increase the efficiency of our cyber operations technical staff.

Works across the sponsor and MITRE organizations to ensure strategic implementation and efficient, effective business operations.

Collaborates with sponsors and MITRE leadership to shape and implement vision, goals, objectives, strategies, measures, and roadmaps, and establishes management systems that drive organizational performance.

Drives direct project and MITRE business operations to manage workforce capacity and delivery, hiring, rates, funding, contracts, resource management, training, recognition programs, capital planning, budgets, labs, facilities, workspace, and new business development.

Works directly with sponsors, and the customers of the sponsors, to gather feedback

Prepares analyses, defines, designs and develops new or improved solutions, and project manages the implementation of new solutions within the business.

Maintains internal budgets and plans for projects.

Works across the organization to ensure strategic implementation and efficient, effective business operations.

Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business.

Partners with organizations across MITRE to achieve objectives as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent in education, or 2 years' experience and an Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Must have active Top Secret security clearance

Demonstrated familiarity with cyber operations technologies, including cyber threat intelligence and digital forensics

Proven track record with budgets, operational support, and future planning.

High-level of business acumen with attention to detail

The ability to lead others, or collaborate, in an effective and trustworthy way

Demonstrated ability to independently manage department activities and processes

This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK

Experience working directly with the United States Government in a classified mission setting

Ability to troubleshoot business operations challenges to determine the appropriate path to resolution

Must be capable of dealing confidently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Must have a strong personal drive for delivering industry-leading support, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a proactive focus
