Job Title: Analog Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Analog Design Engineer to join a small team focused on the design and development of spaceflight hardware for a satellite mission. The systems developed will be part of an upcoming US Government satellite program.

Responsibilities

Design and simulate analog circuits and electronic systems for spaceflight hardware.

Perform schematic entry and layout of boards, collaborating with a team of engineers through manufacturing and delivery.

Design circuits to mitigate radiation effects in space environments.

Create bills of materials (BOM) and write assembly procedures.

Collaborate with test engineers to implement a comprehensive test cycle from proto@type power-up to serial testing of flight hardware.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in designing analog electronic systems, particularly in power and signal conditioning.

Experience in designing spaceflight boards with a focus on high reliability.

Familiarity with schematic capture and board layout software tools.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with high reliability spacecraft, satellite, or spaceflight missions.

Hands-on experience with schematic capture and board layout software.

Experience leading design efforts is preferred.

Familiarity with EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) design and development is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment. This is a new mission with the potential for follow-on work, and you will have the opportunity to lead the effort, following the board through to delivery. Collaboration with a junior hardware engineer is expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
