This position involves executing a range of routine tasks, such as preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts receivable transactions. The role requires prompt and accurate processing of incoming customer payments, ensuring timely posting to accounts. Additionally, maintaining and updating databases, reports, and records is crucial to support the Accounts Receivable team's operations.

Responsibilities

Process incoming customer payments promptly and accurately.

Reconcile customer accounts and prepare financial statements and reports related to receivables.

Conduct analysis and reconciliation of billing cycles to identify discrepancies or potential fraud.

Ensure compliance with transaction verification procedures and internal controls.

Communicate professionally via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues and respond to inquiries.

Uphold strict confidentiality of financial data in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Maintain regular, punctual attendance and may be required to work evenings, weekends, or flexible hours as needed.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience within Accounts Receivable.

Proficiency in Excel.

Experience with SAP or a similar large ERP system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Invoice processing experience.

Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace industries is highly preferred.

Experience in process improvement, cash application, and receivables.

Strong communication skills.

A degree is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The position is fully on-site in Simi Valley, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
