will support new product development and sustaining engineering
activities for HVAC products. This role focuses on executing engineering
tasks, supporting cross-functional teams, and contributing to product
performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Support engineering
projects related to new product development and sustaining activities.
Assist in developing HVAC products based on defined scope, compliance
requirements, and market needs. Apply knowledge of refrigeration
systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer to support product design and
testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product
Management, Engineering, Sales, Procurement, and Services. Conduct
troubleshooting and root cause analysis for existing products.
Contribute to cost reduction and value engineering initiatives. Assist
in identifying customer problems and developing proto@type solutions.
Work with suppliers to evaluate alternate component solutions. Support
analysis of market and industry trends to inform engineering decisions.
Participate in feasibility and ROI assessments for engineering projects.
Required Education & Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical
Engineering or a related engineering field. 3+ years of experience in
product development or product engineering. Familiarity with
refrigeration and HVAC systems. Understanding of compliance requirements
for HVAC systems is a plus. Experience with FEA/CFD software preferred.
Working knowledge of CAD tools, preferably Solid Edge. Travel required:
Up to 15% travel, primarily to Modine plants, suppliers, and customer
