At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), we're looking for a Survey Principal to lead and expand our established survey practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced professional who's ready to shape the future of surveying in the region. You'll collaborate with senior managers and executives, drive business development, and provide technical oversight on a wide range of projects within your local community. Responsibilities: Strategic Visioning & Leadership: Identify opportunities to grow the practice through expanded services and new client relationships. Support business development and marketing efforts. Collaborate with other practices to deliver integrated solutions to clients. Technical Expertise: Provide QA/QC oversight on field and office procedures. Ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables across the practice. Promote and monitor safety protocols for all survey operations. Personnel Development: Mentor and train survey staff to support professional growth and team development.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional surveying experinece; WV Professional Surveyor Registration or ability to obtain (required); Experience leading business development and client management efforts; Network of existing clients preferred; Experience providing guidance and mentoring staff; Experience working within a multidisciplinary consulting practice preferred
