Overall Purpose: Lead the end-to-end development and execution of consumer insight-based, data-driven, and commercially oriented strategies and tactics to maximize profitability and market share for the Cricket business, leveraging the Device portfolio. Ensure the Cricket Device portfolio offers a competitive edge from both a feature and price perspective, and utilize it to drive customer preference among new prospects and the existing customer base.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies:
Collaborate with the Strategic Pricing team to design and execute data-driven pricing strategies and policies to optimize volume, margin, and revenue goals, while adhering to strategic, financial, and administrative guidelines.
Innovate new pricing models and capabilities to maintain a strong competitive position.
Be an effective steward of securing subsidy investments from OEMs and deploying them to deliver strong returns.
Market and Competitive Analysis - Dealer, National Retail, and Digital Channels:
Perform thorough market and competitive analyses to guide pricing decisions and provide actionable strategic insights.
Create go-to-market strategies for Dealer, National Retail, and Digital channels based on comprehensive research and customer segmentation.
Performance Evaluation, Financial Analysis, and Revenue Analytics:
Collaborate with the Strategic Pricing and Analytics team to leverage modeling and financial analysis in assessing the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommending adjustments as needed.
Monitor revenue, margin, and volume trends to ensure subsidy investments deliver compelling returns on investment.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Manage all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch and retirement, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing product success.
Oversee budgets, funding requests, and coordinate with design, supply chain, quality, and marketing teams.
Product Roadmaps:
Develop and maintain robust product roadmaps, service guides, documentation, and analytic reports to ensure alignment with market needs and strategic objectives.
Drive initiatives to grow revenue and improve margins.
OEM Relationship Management, Stakeholder Communication, Talent Management, and Collaboration:
Lead relationships with key OEM partners.
Effectively communicate pricing policies to stakeholders and prepare executive-level reports.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members through onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate across departments to align with business objectives and support sales and marketing efforts.
Job Contribution: Directs and executes strategies that support the company's overarching mission. Oversees departmental programs, often taking a hands-on approach to designing and implementing key initiatives. Leads large teams, supervising both supervisors and career-level staff. Holds authority over hiring, performance management, promotions, and compensation decisions.
