Position Overview:

As our Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have hands-on learning and exposure to a professional work environment in the field of electromechanics. Candidates should be students who are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in their sophomore or junior year of studies in Mechanical Engineering. The position is full-time. Experience with 3D CAD software is desirable. Candidates should be approachable, motivated, and should have good listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

Your Day to Day as a Mechanical Engineering Intern:

Review and modification of tooling and fixture drawings using Pro-E CAD software.

New tooling and fixture design.

Process improvement projects, including updating work procedures and implementing new tooling and equipment.

Investigation and resolution of issues in the plant, including part rework operations.

Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge and understanding of stress analysis.

Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.

Strong verbal and technical writing skills.

Experience with Pro/E Creo CAD software preferred.

The starting hourly rate for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
