Position Overview:

As our Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have hands-on learning and exposure to a professional work environment in the filed of electromechanics. Candidates should be students who are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in their sophomore or junior year of studies in Electrical Engineering, who also have an interest in mechanical systems. The position is full-time. Experience with electrical schematic software and labVIEW programming is desirable. Candidates should be approachable, motivated, and have good listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Location:

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

Your Day to Day as an Electrical Engineering Intern:

Review and modification of electrical control panel drawings using OrCAD Capture.

New control panel design and construction.

Process improvement projects, including updating work procedures and implementing new tooling and equipment.

Investigation and resolution of issues in the plant, including part rework operations.

Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering.

Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.

Strong verbal and technical writing skills.

Experience with electrical schematic software and labVIEW programming is desirable.

Pay: $23.83 - $29.81

The starting hourly rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $23.83 and $29.81 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify the hourly rate (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or applicable department/team performance, and other market factors.
