The Director of Employee Experience provides strategic direction, leadership and coordination to DCYF's employee experience and culture strategies and programs. This role leads the creation of innovative learning solutions, oversees leadership development, helps improve retention, productivity, and organizational performance, and aligns training initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization. By driving organizational learning, performance management and engagement the incumbent enhances employee engagement, supports career progression, and ensures the long-term success and adaptability of the agency.
This role is also responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, workplace culture, and overall satisfaction throughout the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with HR, leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure the organization delivers a positive, inclusive, and high-performance environment that aligns with DCYF values and strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
In coordination with DCYF Leadership and guided by the agency strategic priorities, this position actively develops strategies and initiatives designed to improve the organization wellbeing so that employees can thrive individually and within their work teams.
Coordinate and implement an Organizational Wellbeing and Employee Experience Program and generate a clear, measurable ROI for the Employee's Experience.
Lead the strategic vision for establishing, overseeing, and coordinating performance evaluations, spearheading and supervising the training and development programs across the agency.

Managerial Experience
And
Five (5) years of experience leading and/or consulting an organization in training and development, such as:
Leading and developing learning initiatives by aligning learning strategies to organization strategic goals while conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps, designing target learning pathways, collaborating with leaders to implement training programs, foster a culture of continuous learning, tracking progress and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of initiative to adjust as needed.
Driving organizational change management by identifying the need for change, clearly defining the desired outcome and creating comprehensive communication plans, providing training d support to large teams while actively manage resistance, monitor the progress and solidifying the new practices within a company culture.
Administering strategies to foster a deep connection between employees and the organization by developing/overseeing recognition and reward programs, employee surveys, performing leadership engagement and developing professional development opportunities for employees.
Analyzing data, assess learning program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
Driving of adult leaning theories, instructional design and curriculum development by creating course work for employees and utilizing learning management systems such as (Blackboard, Pathlore, Canvas and Moodle).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, organization development or another related field.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
