As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding swiftly to any potential concerns. This armed position requires a strong sense of professionalism and the ability to communicate clearly with both team members and those on site. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements for an armed post.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters specific to an aero and defense environment.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns promptly.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
