As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment at a prominent aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding access control protocols. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support overall site security-related objectives.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the location.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, or other security-related events as outlined in site-specific procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
